Satteltaschen. Die Alternative, den Donau-Damm entlang zu radeln, ist leider auch Essig. Keine Autos daf\u00fcr grober, spitzer Schotter und jeden Moment in Erwartung eines lauten Knalls. Wir entscheiden uns f\u00fcr&#8217;s nicht Patschenpicken und somit f\u00fcr die Bundesstra\u00dfe. Karl ist schwer beeindruckt von der H\u00f6he der Menschen. Die folgenden Kilometer bis nach Bescova ritten wir \u00fcber einen Feldweg (von einem Extrem zum anderen) mit Blick in eine grandiose Auenlandschaft. Wir wollen positiv bleiben, also; trotz Donau vor der T\u00fcr keine Gelsen im (Kinder)Zimmer und das Essen war gut! Mit dem F\u00e4hrboot gehts heute \u00fcber die Donau weiter auf die andere, serbische Uferseite. Die Region entwurzelt sich, viele gehen (der Arbeit wegen) fort und wenige kommen wieder, und wenn dann meist nur zum Urlauben. Wir fahren durch Orte wo H\u00e4user picobello dastehen und kaum Leute leben. Die Landschaft ist immer einen Blick links und rechts, weg von der Stra\u00dfe, wert. Manchmal scheint sie wie gemalen, von W. Entgegen unseren Erwartungen ist es hier , an der EU-Au\u00dfengrenze sehr leise und unspektakul\u00e4r. Kaum Autos oder LKW&#8217;s sind hier anzutreffen. Das erste Mal sind die Radfahrer in \u00dcberzahl. In unserem letzten Quartier in Negotin haben tschechische Polizisten gewohnt. Einmal sind wir sogar daran vorbei gefahren und nahmen sie nicht wahr. Eva kommt am Samstag mit unseren Rucks\u00e4cken in Sofia an und am Montag starten Eva und ich mit unserer Wanderung \u00fcber das Balkangebirge.
